Message From Joint Secretary

If we look the word “educator” it comes from the Latin “educare”, meaning to lead, to guide. That’s what education means guide, to lead and train to discover oneself! That is precisely what our lecturer do at BNMPU college.

Philosophers and Psychologists have told us this years. “You are all you have, therefore, make yourself most beautiful and wonderful and caring person in the world and then you will always survive. Remember “ Medea in the Greek tragedy”? Remember the line of beautiful play, when everything is gone and the oracle comes to her and says, “Medea what is left? “ Everything is destroyed, everything is gone. She says ” what is left? There is me”. When we recognize the importance of me again, returning to a respect of me, love for me, realizing that all things come from me, then I can give to others what I have and what I am.

Saint Exupery, the French Philosopher, makes a magnificent statement in his book “ The Little Prince”. He says “Perhaps Education is the process of my leading you gently back to yourself and help you to discover the inherent and dormant potentialities in you”.

Those of us who have worked with students know that they have a limitless potential no matter how much they have realized. All we have to is to make it possible for them to recognize it in their way and be there to help them, when they need help, support and encouragement and they are all going to succeed in their endeavors.

But remember, “Nothing comes from Nothing”. Now that pattern of studies has changed to the trimester system, you can prepare yourself in a spaced manner and you can also access your performance to improve and to secure better results. At the same time, take your co-curricular activities too seriously for developing a well-rounded personality which will help you to identify yourself with the great achievers of national and international repute.
